Micah 6:8

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”

Micah 6:8 NKJV

 

This was listed as one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s favorite Bible verse. It has been one of my favorite verses since my college days.

 

Micah reminds us that God does not want religion but an active faith. Do, love, and walk are active verbs for an active faith.

 

With an active faith, one can change the world!
