Reading – Psalms 109-111

“How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them.”

When I ponder the deeds of the Lord, my mind goes first to the beauty of creation.

Here is Colorado, we need only look to the west to see the majestic Rocky Mountains. Elsewhere, the ocean with its waves and beautifully carved coasts and blazing sunsets and sunrises boggle the mind with their beauty.

The immense variety of plants and animals throughout the world is beyond human imagination.

But to me, the most amazing deeds of the Lord are found in how He created us, loved us, and sacrificed for us.

That level of creativity and love are found in no one but God Himself.
