Reading – Acts 8
Highlight Verse:
“But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went.”
Acts of the Apostles 8:4 NLT
I write this from a hotel room in Roseburg, Oregon.
Unlike the New Testament believers, I am not traveling because of persecution.
But like them, I do want to spread the Gospel wherever I go.
Granted, I’m not going around and preaching the Good News from every corner while I’m on vacation.
But I am trying to be kind, helpful, and patient with people as I go through my days.
Many of my T-shirts identify me as a believer. More often than not, I let that stand as the implied motivation for why I act as I do.
Sometimes, I use my apparel and actions as a springboard to talk about Jesus.
I’m no traveling evangelist, but I like take the good news of Jesus with me wherever I go.
As you travel during summer vacation season or as you go about your daily lives, be sure to bring the good news with you.
Share the Gospel through your deeds and words in every situation.
What creative ways have you shared the Gospel while on vacation?
How do you share the Gospel without being “preachy”?
