Reading – Psalms 28-30

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!”

And this, my friends, is why I chose poetry for Sunday. It’s also why I choose to go to church.

It is a time of joyous celebration and praise.

God deserves our praise, and I don’t mind a little joy myself.
