Reading – Titus 2:6-3:2
Highlight Verse:
“And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.”
Titus 2:7 NLT
Election Day is fast approaching here in Colorado.
Our ballots recently arrived and I had the privilege of going through the ballot and the election guide with my youngest (now adult) kids. This will be their first full election.
Of course, I offered my own opinions on each issue (and there are many this time) but I also encouraged them to study the election guide and make their own decisions.
My goal in leading them is not to make them carbon copies of me but to give them the tools they need to make wise decisions on their own.
Paul taught Titus to teach people how to make wise decisions by his example and his teaching.
I believe we have that same responsibility to teach those we influence the same way.
And while you’re at it, make sure you remember to vote wisely and teach others to do the same!
What is your best wise advice to pass along to us?
How have you communicated that to those you influence?
