Friday – Prophets

Reading – Zechariah 3-4

Highlight Verses:

“Then the angel showed me Jeshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Jeshua. And the LORD said to Satan, “I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.””
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

And this is how you deal with Satan (literally “the accuser”).

Reject him.

Rebuke him.

Reject all his lies; his false accusations.

Satan will accuse God of trying to take away your fun.

God will bring you into pure joy.

Satan will tell you you are not good enough.

God will tell you that He made you for a purpose and He will give you everything you need to fulfill that purpose.

Satan will tell you that you have messed up too much to be accepted into heaven.

God will say Jesus paid the entry fee.

Satan will tell you not to bother to even try.

God will say, don’t try, trust!

Satan will say you will never get free from your sin.

God will say, “What sin? I covered that. Trust me and move forward in the strength I give you.”

It’s time we started listening to God and not the accuser.

What lies of the accuser have you been believing?
How do you think God would answer those accusations?
